Description:

While observing the surrounding environment, I was immediately struck by the one-point perspective of the building, where all the lines converge at a distant point, dividing the area into four equal sections. The contrasts between shadow and the bright, sunny areas highlight the juxtaposition of the structured architecture against the organic forms outside.

A neon-lit, futuristic Tokyo streetscape from my best night during my last summer trip to Japan. I use details, and layered composition to blend elements of urban life with an unreal, anime-inspired aesthetic. The energy and solitude of the modern city contrast sharply with my regular life.

The warm tones of the canyon glow against a striking beam of light, giving a sense of movement and energy. This painting is based on a snorkeling photo I took in Los Cabos, Mexico. It pulls the viewer into an underwater world, using a one-point perspective to focus on a swimmer gliding through colorful marine life. The shimmering light on the water’s surface adds a sense of movement, making it feel like you’re right there, swimming alongside.
